As a third-generation photographer, Damian draws inspiration from both his father and grandfather. AJ Sandone, Damian’s father, is internationally renowned as he has earned a solid reputation in the photography business, acquiring prestigious clientele both in Europe and America. A leader in implementing digital photography, AJ’s work experience encompasses advertising, editorial, and eCommerce.
A few years ago, Damian and his father had the opportunity to come together and work on a tailored men’s fashion shoot in NYC. A piece of Sandone history was also included in the shoot as all the vintage photography equipment used as props in the shoot belonged to AJ’s father.
The shoot showcased the father and son in their element, shooting in NYC. Bringing their own strengths and specialties to the photoshoot, a collection of beautifully crafted shots emerged.
This father and son duo still works together today at Sandone Studios. AJ is brought in for special projects and Damian is happy to still learn from his father. This creative duo can be found in our Florida studio for most of the year.
